So Here’s the new paypal homepage that should’ve been made.
So basically paypal has stopped all transactions from Indians since Fb 3rd which has raised a sense of terror in the minds of the people.
Initially, it was understood to be reversal for personal payments but now, it’s clear that for services/goods it’s been reversed as wel.
Paypal sends a weird email to all clients of this sort.
Dear User,
Your payment of $XX.XX has been returned to you. If you sent the payment with a bank account, the funds will be returned to your PayPal balance. If you paid with a credit card, the amount will be credited back to your card.
We returned the payment to you because we have stopped allowing personal payments to be sent to or from India.
If this was a payment for a purchase of goods or services, and not a personal payment, then you may resend the payment to the seller by following these steps on the PayPal website: (a) click the Send Money tab, (b) select “Goods,” and (c) provide a shipping address.
If this payment was a personal payment, such as a gift to a friend or family member, then we request that you find another payment method until we restore personal payments to and from India.
We are trying to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and we’re sorry for any inconvenience.

* Indian users are no longer able to see the option to send a Personal payment on the Send Money page.
* They can continue to use other payment options, such as eBay checkout.
* Although India customers are unable to send Personal payments, they are still receiving Personal payments from Non India customers.
* In order to stop ALL Personal payments TO and FROM India accounts, Paypal have started reversing Personal payments (All types of Payments, whether personal or not including for Services/Goods with shipping address) sent by Non India customers starting today.
* Paypal are also in the process of implementing a change on the website to automatically stop the payment from processing, rather than waiting to reverse the payment. Paypal will send you additional updates as soon as they have more details.
* The Personal payment option on the International Send Money page has been updated and India has been removed from the ‘select a country’ drop down list.
On Reversal :
* PayPal only reversing money which occur from Feb 1,2010.
* They are reversing all transactions made as Personal Option, Gift, Other/Service option without Shipping Address as well as Goods!

I just had conversation with Media Person and Delhi High Court Lawyer about the issue.
First, this issue will get solved and each and everyone will be paid for the withdrawal.
Second, i found some people talking about RBI can take action and all. Its highly not possible.
Under Sections of Foreign Trades in India, Paypal Money is not legal, we are not Paying Taxes to India Govt. So they damn care about it.in TOC of PP they are concerned about US govt. not about Indian Govt.
Legally not many options but such big company will not run away with such money so no need to panic much about the issue.
I myself have about 3000 -ve balance in my paypal and over 4k is in the air as i made 2 withdraw request on 26th and 1st Feb.Patience is the key.

02 Nov 09 Orkut’s New Look’s awesome? No, it’s Not!
My personal review would be it lacks the whole Web2.0 Feel, it misses the glossy buttons, the proper use of colors, a proper header, the dynamic sidebar thereby making it dull and boring. It’s filled with white all over which has made it a pain for the eye. I am personally disliking the So called new orkut though it’s supposed to be awesome. What about you? Write your experience here.
The same features like the right friend’s and community’s scrolling sidebar could have been added on the old layout itself. Maybe it’s faster but the spoiled the neatness.
Also have you noticed the ‘Web’ Link on the right side? That links to google.com with an affiliate of client-orkut, is that a co effort to help orkuters browse google more or gain more revenue?

02 Nov 09 How’d my birthday end in a jiffy?
While it is usually
not a ‘big deal’ to me…
my friends do try to make it special…
I got calls from all of my friends…
so it didn’t go completely without notice.
And..as something, extra special for me..
Someone came up glorifying myself, with the utmost happiness
Thanks ‘Dear’!
All in all…went out to a mall – too much of a crowd…
we still had so much setting up to do
that I am thoroughly ‘beat’ and quite ready for bed.
(They had already blocked off the road to the venue…
and we had to walk more than a mile…
fighting, running and gossiping…
and the usual ’stuff’ one needs on hand
during a show.)
So…I’m not as tired from the show…as the ‘trek’ from
the van to the venue!
I’m not going to carry much more than myself
to ‘day 2.’
^^^ Never mind the random ness above.
Over all it was a fun birthday, Mobile inbox was filled with tons of sms’s and emails from friends and clients. Random gifts included gaming discs, vouchers, cards, a basketball O_o, SD Cards and much more.
Wishes began with emails and ended with a sweet belated ecard from NiSant
